A video has surfaced of the lockdown in Shivaji Nagar, Mumbai, the financial capital of India. BJP leader Kirit Soumaiya in Maharashtra has shared a video on his Twitter page. In this video, a huge crowd of people is seen on Shivaji Nagar Govandi Road No. 2 in Mumbai. Kirit Somaiya tweeted a video on Friday (May 15) at 8 pm, showing a huge crowd of people on Shivaji Nagar Govandi Road No.2.

In his statement, Kirit Somaiya said that 1000 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 15 days in Shivaji Nagar area, yet there is such a huge crowd. The Maharashtra government has called 20 companies of the Central Armed Forces, but why are they not using them? I demand immediate military deployment in areas like Shivaji Nagar.

Maharashtra has the highest number of coronavirus cases in India. The coronavirus havoc here is increasing rapidly. So far, more than 29 thousand cases of coronavirus have been reported in the state. According to the latest data from the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, a total of 29,100 cases have been reported in the state till 8 am on Saturday (May 16). Here, the death toll of the coronavirus has reached 1068, while 6564 people have been cured so far.
