From tomorrow, all essential shops in the district such as milk, pharmacy, grocery stores, vegetable and other bakeries will be allowed to operate from 6 am to 5 pm. Restaurants across the district are allowed 50 percent customer seating between 6am and 5pm, and only parcel service is allowed in restaurants from 5pm to 9pm.

The district administration has banned public visits to parks, tourist sites and museums across the district on Sundays. Similarly, a check post should be set up at the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border and people coming from the state of Karnataka should give the corona negative certificate taken within 72 hours or the document for two installments of vaccination. If not, the RT-PCR test will be conducted there.
In Erode, 11 areas including Eeswaran Kovil Road, Gandhiji Road, Manikundu, Mettur Road, RKV Road and 12 areas in cities including Bhavani, Kopi and Sathyamangalam were found to be overcrowded, with pharmacy, dairy and vegetable shops on Saturdays and Sundays. , All other shops except the restaurant have been banned from operating.
