Son lodges FIR against father, says 'father is violating lockdown rules'

New Delhi: In the Vasant Kunj area of Delhi, the country's capital, a son has filed a case against his father for violating the lockdown. The son says that his father is not following the rules of lockdown and even after stopping repeatedly, he goes for a walk outside the house. The son's name is Abhishek while his father and the accused father's name is Virendra Singh. Abhishek works in an automobile company.

It is noteworthy that Delhi Police had detained 4053 people from various places till Wednesday (1 April) on charges of violating the lockdown. Later, all of them were released by taking legal action and giving advice. Giving information, Delhi Police Police Spokesperson ACP Anil Mittal had said that, "till 5 pm on Wednesday, 249 cases were registered by the police in Delhi under Section 188 of the IPC."

He said that Delhi Police also seized 515 vehicles while taking action against those who violated lock down under Section 66 of Delhi Police Act. Whereas on 10 April i.e. 1022 movement passes were issued in different districts.
