Recently reported news is of Kathundha village under Hussainabad in Palamu district where a deranged youth killed his mother on Tuesday. Confirming the incident, Hussainabad Sub-Divisional Police Officer Vijay Kumar said, "The incident was carried out by a deranged young man and he killed his mother, Saroj Devi, 50 years old with a spade in the morning."
Talking further in this matter, he said, "After this incident, the people around Guddu were caught and handed over to the police and the police have presented the accused in the court and sent him to the mental hospital in Ranchi." On November 26, a similar incident was reported from Greater Noida in UP and a 50-year-old woman was strangled to death in the Badlapur area. It was said that the woman was murdered on Saturday and her 16-year-old minor son was accused of killing the woman. Such cases are continuously appearing nowadays.
