One of the Popular faces of Television and Bjp Leader Sonali Phogat passes away in Goa due to a heart attack. . The local authorities are yet to confirm about the development. She had contested the last assembly election as BJP candidate from the Adampur Assembly constituency against Kuldeep Bishnoi. The actress also featured in Big Boss.
In an earlier interview speaking about her life Sonali Said, “I come from a very humble background. I was born in a farmer’s family. I studied at a government school till Class X and I was married off after that. After marriage, I decided that I want to do something and show the world that women should not be weak but work shoulder to shoulder with the men.”
Speaking about her Background she said, “ In Haryana, only the men go out of the house. It was like that in our family as well. My in-laws allowed me to study further but they did not want me to go out and work. However, I convinced my husband and got his permission. Then, my struggle started because I got into the acting line, and there was no one to help me. I had to make it on my own. Then, I became associated with politics, and my husband supported me here as well. 
The actress also opened up on her life after her husband died and said, “But after he died, I saw the reality of people and how they view a woman. If she is attractive and alone. Nasty stories are made up about her, and she is subjected to mental torture. Everyone does their best to take advantage of them or force them to stay at home. She went through many of these challenges when her spouse passed away, and it strengthened her.”
Sonali’s costar from Bigg Boss Nikki Tamboli, Pavitra Punia and Abhinav Shukla paid condolences. Pavitra Puni said,  “This is terrible news. I am shocked and can't believe this is true. Oh my god, my heart goes for her young daughter. She has lost both her parents at such a young age. That beautiful kid, I am feeling bad for her. She would always talk about her daughter in the Bigg Boss house. This is such sad news."
