On May 7, a number of actors and musicians will perform at the King Charles III's coronation concert. These will include Sonam Kapoor from Bollywood, The Pussycat Dolls, and Tom Cruise from Hollywood.

Sonam is the only famous Indian to attend this historic event; she was invited to perform an exclusive spoken word performance at King Charles III's Coronation Concert on May 7 at Windsor Castle, United Kingdom. The actress stated that she will be introducing Steve Winwood and the exclusive Commonwealth virtual choir. Sonam added, "I am honoured to join the Commonwealth virtual choir for this ceremony, celebrating His Majesty's love for music and art. It's a momentous occasion that signifies a commitment to a positive, inclusive, and optimistic future for the United Kingdom, with the Choir's music paying tribute to the royal legacy and promoting unity, peace, and joy."

Sonam will "appear on stage to deliver a spoken word performance to introduce the Commonwealth virtual choir," according to a Variety article. Sonam, her husband Anand Ahuja, and their son Vayu all reside in London.

Sonam will be making her first royal appearance, but Tom attended Princess Diana's funeral in 1997, Pooh attended a children's garden party at Buckingham Palace in 2006 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday, and Pussycat Dolls lead Nicole Scherzinger participated in a pageant to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee last year.
