Anil Kapoor is a adorable father not just at his house but at the movies too. The actor is working with his son Harshvardhan Kapoor in Abhinav Bindra biopic and now has also started shooting for a film with beti Sonam Kapoor. Yes the father-daughter duo will be seen in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’ (ELKDTAL), which marks the directorial debut on Vidhu Vinod Chopra's sister Shelly Dhar.

10 year old in showbiz, Sonam will be sharing screen space with daddy dear for the first time ever. The film goes on floors today with Anil and TV actress Madhu Malti, who plays Anil's wife and Sonam's mom on screen. Reportedly, Sonam will join them after she finishes promoting Pad Man.

Earlier debutant director Shelly spoke about her film. She said, “I just came back from a meeting with Anil and he is like a kid, extremely excited about his role. His character sports a look that hasn’t been seen on him in a long time. We will be shooting at a family house in Patiala, which is perfect setting for the film. I am shooting entirely at real locations as I want the film to develop as organically as possible. We can’t wait to start rolling now.” She further added, “But Anil is also really looking forward to the outing. While I have all his costumes in place, he insisted on bringing his own stuff too.”
