New Delhi: Congress Executive Chairman Sonia Gandhi today convened a big meeting to unite all opposition parties. The sit-in will include several opposition leaders of the country. The meeting has also been invited to NCP, in which Sharad Pawar will attend and play his role through video conferencing at 4.30 pm today. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray will also attend the meeting through video conferencing.

Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut informed that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray will attend the opposition meeting chaired by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today through video conferencing. The meeting is likely to discuss a number of issues including the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the upcoming state elections. In fact, how long has Congress been engaged in an exercise to unite all opposition parties against the Modi government? It is in this endeavor that this meeting has been convened.

According to the information, the meeting may be attended by CM from West Bengal, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Jharkhand. The meeting will be attended by 15 parties. However, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have not been invited for the same. Earlier, during the monsoon session of the House, there was also the solidarity of the Opposition, which has greatly affected the proceedings of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. The opposition raised a hue and cry over the Pegasus controversy, price rise, and demand for a discussion on agriculture law, which repeatedly affected the proceedings of the House.
