New Delhi: On the occasion of the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi has lashed out at the Union government. Sonia Gandhi said that while we are celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri today, farmers are protesting against three anti-agricultural laws.

Sonia Gandhi further said that I am confident that the performance of farmers and Congress will be successful and farmers will win in this war. It may be mentioned that after the passage of the agriculture bill, the president has signed the bill, after which it has now taken the shape of the law. Farmers and opposition parties are demonstrating against these agricultural bills in various states. Let us tell you that the agricultural bills were strongly opposed by the Congress in both the Houses of Parliament and demanded withdrawal of the bill.

Even in the Modi cabinet, Minister Harsimrat Kaur resigned as a minister in the government against these bills. The Congress has alleged that these bills will cause a lot of damage to the farmers and these bills are anti-farmer, so it should be withdrawn. The Modi government, while supporting the law, said it will help in increasing farmers ' incomes and give farmers the freedom to sell their crops in their own way.
