Patna: Bihar assembly elections will be held later this year. All parties and coalitions are active about their preparations. While Bihar NDA has announced the face of CM Nitish Kumar on its behalf, there is still no consensus on it in the Grand Alliance. Especially after former CM Jeetan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha, Mukesh Sahni, the Congress statement has made it difficult.
In the statement issued by the Congress, it has been said that the face of the grand alliance will be decided by the interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi. Congress MLC Premchandra Mishra said that the Congress high command will take a decision on the face of the Grand Alliance and soon Sonia Gandhi will give its decision. It is noteworthy that this statement given by the Congress has created a lot of controversy for the RJD because it has already announced to contest elections in the name of Tejashwi Yadav. Not only this, the party has also declared Tejashwi as its CM candidate.
Let us tell you that Jeetan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha and Mukesh Sahni, who were part of the grand alliance, demanded the formation of a coordination committee in the grand alliance against making Tejashwi the face of CM post. All three recently held a meeting with Sharad Yadav in Delhi in which political strategist Prashant Kishore also attended.
