Actor Sonu Sood has been widely praised as the Messiah throughout India for helping migrants reach their place during the lockdown. But things were not always so simple for him. Actor Sonu shared the old memories of his movie journey while shooting for the Independence Special episode of 'India's Best Dancer' show.

The actor recounting his days of struggle said, "I am an engineer and when I returned to my family after my graduation, I thought I would do a family business there, but I always wanted to come to Mumbai Initially, I thought that my parents would stop me from going to Mumbai because I am their only son, but my mother told me to get my dreams.

In this regard, he further said, "I still remember when I first came to Mumbai, I had 5,500 rupees collected near me. I went to Film City after spending four hundred rupees but stopped me at the gate Gone. It seemed to me that if I kept roaming around like this in Film City, one director or a producer would see me and take me into his project, but nothing like that ever happened.
