Sonu Sood has been a part of special discussions these days. You must be aware that six of his hideouts were raided by the Income Tax Department last week. The raid raised questions about the funds that came to his foundation. Not only that but Sonu Sood has also been accused of tax evasion. Now, in an interview to a website among all this, Sonu Sood spoke about the income tax department's proceedings and plans to open a hospital in Hyderabad. "Any foundation has a time limit of one year to use the funds they have received," he said. If funds are not used in that one year, you can use them next year. These are the rules. I listed this foundation a few months ago close to the second wave of Covid-19. Otherwise during the first wave, when I started helping migrants, I had people who offered to book buses for migrants.''

He further said, "I started raising funds in the last four to five months. As per the rules, I have more than seven months left to use these funds. I am not wasting people's and my hard earned money. 25 percent of the brand endorsements I earn and sometimes 100 percent go directly to my foundation. If the brand donates money, I advertise them for free. Funds in the foundation are also my personal funds, which I have donated.'

He further said that he is going to open a hospital in Hyderabad. He said, "Many of the people we had for help were treated in Hyderabad. The infrastructure of some hospitals in Hyderabad is at a different level, the plan in the coming 50 years is whether Sonu Sood is there or not, but people should be treated free of cost through this charitable hospital.'
