On Monday, Sony launched a new portable wireless speaker called SRS-XB3 for music aficionados in India. The speaker offering “extra bass” technology to enhance deep bass sound is priced at Rs 12,990.

The speaker is water resistant, and can resist light splashes.The deep bass is achieved with a powerful magnet and a long drive. 

The speaker pairs with devices over Bluetooth or NFC. SRS-XB3 is available at Sony centres and major electronic stores across India in six colours — black, blue, yellow, green, light brown and red.

A single speaker can be placed vertically or horizontally on any surface. Two of these wireless speakers can be paired up and used together.

The speaker is powered by an impressive 8800 mAh battery. Sony indicates the continuous playback time as 24 hours.
