Gurugram: All police stations in Gurugram will soon have a cyber help centre to deal with cybercrime matters quickly. There is currently only one cybercrime help desk in the city. Commissioner of Gurugram Police K.K. Rao made the statement while presiding over a crime conference with all senior police officers at his camp office on Thursday.

According to the commissioner, cybercrime is on the rise, and because there is only one cyber police station, it is difficult for all victims to access it. As a result, orders from senior officials have been made to establish a cyber assistance desk in all police stations.

In addition, while interacting with the officers, the Commissioner discussed a number of other topics, including crime control and criminals, pending complaints, crimes against women and children, and swift action against proclaimed criminals, patrolling, setting up checkpoints on strategic roads, and arms, illicit liquor, and narcotics smuggling.

Rao directed officials to keep a watch on those who break traffic regulations, steal automobiles, or are involved in hit-and-run situations and take action against them. "CCTV cameras in Gurugram are used to issue 1,000 challans per day. It is taking swift action against those who are involved in vehicle thefts, road accidents, and traffic violations "he stated
