Ola Electric is also planning to expand its delivery network outside Bengaluru and Chennai. The EV startup has announced that S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters will now be available for delivery to customers in other cities like Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Visakhapatnam from the coming week.
Ola Electric CEO and co-founder Bhavish Agarwal made the announcement late on Thursday night. He has said, "I am answering the most popular question - yes, the delivery has been started. It's amazing to see customers happy with your OLA Scooter. Bangalore, Chennai last week. Vizag, Pune, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and many more cities will be held this week and next week."
the Ola Electric had started delivery of its S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters earlier this month on December 16, which was about 4 months late after its launch on August 15. EV manufacturer organized a special programme to deliver scooters to the first 100 customers in Bengaluru and Chennai.
To meet the response of customers who wanted to make tremendous bookings and purchases received across the country, priority delivery was set on an automatic scientific perspective. Which was delivered handover as per their purchase date, variant, location, colour and other factors. The company has rolled out Ola S1 scooter from its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu.
