USA: Are you one of the users who refrains from sending photos over WhatsApp because the quality is compromised? Now, you might not experience this problem in the future. The app, which is owned by Meta, is working on making it possible to share pictures in their original quality, according to WABetaInfo. But this feature is still in the works and will be made available eventually.

Currently, WhatsApp compresses every image before sharing it, which lowers the image quality. It's easy to share pictures on WhatsApp, and they are delivered quickly, but the poor picture quality is a big letdown. Users are frequently compelled to switch to other apps because of this, but thankfully, things may improve soon.

Users will now have more discretion when sharing photos. The image preview section will include a feature that allows you to send photos in their original quality. Along with the crop and zoom options, a new option called "photo quality" will be available in the drawing editor section, allowing users to customise the image quality before sending it.

Currently under development, the ability to send photos in their original quality should be available in a future update. It's a component of Android beta update 2.23.2.11.

With the release of update 2.23.2.8, WhatsApp recently gave Android beta users the option to post a voice status. Additionally, the app has started rolling out two shortcuts for blocking contacts as part of the Android beta update 2.23.2.10. There are now more places where users can be blocked. You can block unknown senders directly from the chat list or the notifications panel.
