New Delhi: Sourav Ganguly, the head of the BCCI and a former captain of Team India, has been appointed to the ICC Men's Cricket Committee (ICC Men's Cricket Committee). According to the ICC, Ganguly will succeed fellow Indian Anil Kumble, who resigned three times after taking command for a maximum of three years.

His responsibility will be to create rules and regulations governing playing conditions and sportAs if a decision on the DRS was made while he was in charge of he Kumble. . ICC Chairman Greg Barclay stated in a statement, "I am delighted to greet Sourav on his appointment as Chairman of the ICC Men's Cricket Committee. His expertise as one of the top players in the world and later as an administrator will help us in making future cricket decisions.'

He also complimented Anil Kumble for taking on the role for such a long time. ", he explained "I'd also want to congratulate Anil for his outstanding leadership abilities over the previous nine years. This includes employing DRS on a regular and consistent basis in international matches, as well as establishing a solid process for dealing with dubious bowling action.'
