First test match between Australia and South Africa has started here in W.A.C.A stadium Perth. The home team is not giving it loose to the visitors as after winning the toss and coming to bat first, SA team had lost 4 top order batsmen before going for lunch.

South Africa began their batting with the regular opening pair but Mitchell Starc was hungry enough to grab the first wicket. He has dismissed Stephen Cook on the third bowl of the innings. Keeping the pace, peter Siddle and Josh Hazlewood keep stumbling the SA batting order. After a loss of 2 wickets, the captain Du Plessis was expected, but to the surprise of the spectators we see JP Duminy coming. Duminy got lucky twice because he was dropped in successive attempts of being out but his luck couldn't drive him much and in the third time, he was successfully caught.

The Proteas thrashed Australia 5-0 in their recent one-day series, but the Australians have been boosted by the return to fitness of bowling spearhead Starc. South Africa have never lost a Test in Perth and are desperate to improve their recent record away from home, while the Australians are keen to rebound from a 3-0 away loss to Sri Lanka in its most recent Test series.
