South African swept the Australians off their floor on their home ground. The 5 ODI match series between the No.1 and No.2 teams in South Africa was won by the host itself with a clean sweep 5-0. The Australian explosive opener David Warner was successful in making a dynamic score of 173 runs off 136 balls, but it was certainly not enough for the ODI no.1 to win the match against the Africans.

"Davey was phenomenal but the rest of us didn’t stand up," said Australian captain Steve Smith. "Credit to South Africa, we’ve been outplayed in all the games.”

The Hosts put up the total of 327 runs on the board with a loss of eight wickets. But the guest team was bowled out at a score of 296.
