One of the renowned South African rappers Kiernan Forbes left the world at the age of 35. The popular rapper was shot dead in a nightclub.  The rapper is popularly known as AKA. He has been killed in Durban, South Africa. The local police confirmed the incident. He was fatally shot outside a popular night spot on Durban's Florida Road.

As per the information the rapper was shot while standing on the pavement when gunfire rang out shortly after 22:00. A spokesperson speaking about the issue said, “I can confirm that two men were killed and one of them is a well-known rapper. Police will not be releasing any names of the victims yet until a full investigation is completed."

The rapper's family posted a statement on his official Twitter account. According to the statement, "It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son,". As soon as the news caught the eyes of people they started paying tribute the rapper. One user wrote, "Please continue to protect your family. Thank you brother,"  Another wrote, "May heaven welcome you with opens arms, I am sorry & rest in eternal peace!"

On the Professional front, The south African rapper was promoting his upcoming album with his last Instagram post, showing him working in the studio and posing in a photo shoot. This tragic incident comes more than a year after he lost his fiancee Nelli Tembe, who fell to her death from her hotel room in an Cape Town hotel in April 2021.
