South Korea has allowed its Women's National Soccer Team to compete in the Women's Asian Cup qualifying rounds, which is going to be held in North Korea next month.

This historical decision may significantly improve the relations between the two nations, as these two have bitter relations since World War II.

This decision was made after South Korea's Unification Ministry permitted Women's Ice Hockey team of North Korea to stay in South Korea and participate in group rounds of Women's World Championship that are going to be held in South Korea.
