South Korea reports 5,805 new Covid cases amid Omicron Threat

Today (Wednesday), the number of daily coronavirus infections in South Korea surpassed 5,000 for the first time in 20 days, seriously its is alarming for south Korea because from the New Korean Celebration.

According to data issued by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, the country gained 5,805 new Covid-19 infections, including 5,431 local infections, bringing the overall caseload to 705,902. (KDCA).

Since December 30, when it was 5,034, the daily caseload had been below 5,000. On Wednesday, 532 serious patients of Covid-19  were counted. The country logs 74 Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total number of people killed to 6,452. A death rate of 0.91 percent was recorded.
