Khartoum: Security forces have detained 6 journalists after a video of South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit urinating in his pants went viral. In fact, the security forces suspect that the video of this incident which took place during the national anthem has been made viral by these very journalists. At the same time, international organization has expressed objection regarding the detention of journalists.

They suspect that these journalists have released the video.

At the same time, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), an international organization working for the benefit of journalists, has demanded the immediate release of these journalists. Organization officials say that this is the same pattern of detention in African countries, when the authorities feel that the coverage is not according to them, they arrest the journalists.
