Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has strategically appointed election in-charges for six assembly by-election seats, indicating their intent to contest in these crucial constituencies. The party's national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav has been tasked with overseeing the Kathari assembly seat in Ambedkar Nagar. The move underlines his key role within the party and signals the importance of this constituency in the upcoming by-elections.

Ayodhya MPs Awadhesh Prasad and Lal Bihari Yadav have been appointed in-charges for the Milkipur seat in Ayodhya, indicating the party's focus on strengthening its presence in this politically important region. Meanwhile, MP Virendra Singh has been tasked with handling the Majhawan assembly seat in Mirzapur, while Chandradev Yadav has been made in-charge of Karhal assembly in Mainpuri. Indrajit Saroj and Rajendra Kumar have been appointed for the Phulpur and Seemau seats respectively.
