Rampur: The troubles of Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Azam Khan are increasing day by day. He has not visited his home Janpad Rampur for almost a month after being declared a landmafia. Earlier, when he was an MLA and lived in Lucknow, he usually lived in his native Rampur on Saturdays and Sundays.
Azam Khan, who defeated BJP leader Jaya Prada in the parliamentary elections, is now accused of occupying farmers' land, river land. They are facing more than 26 cases. He is also a landmafia. So is Azam Khan not coming to Rampur in fear of arrest? Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma said that the currents that have hit AZAM Khan, an MP from Rampur, could lead to his arrest. But if he comes to Rampur, we will arrest him, there is nothing like that yet.
On the other hand, SP President Akhilesh Yadav said, "SP MP Azam Khan is not shying away from coming to Rampur. Just running Parliament. That's why he is busy. Earlier, when he was a minister in the UP government, he usually lived in Rampur every Saturday, Sunday. Here is his ancestral residence. He has not been here since The Parliament is in session. The rest of the cases have been filed for political reasons. Soon they will get rid of it."
