According to the Saudi media report, the Saudi Space Commission attended a virtual meeting of the Arab Space Cooperation Group on Thursday. The Commission was represented by its CEO Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Asikh, and the session was organized by the Emirates Space Agency I went.

For your information, let us tell you that the meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Al-Falasi, who is the Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills and also the President of Emirates Space Agency. 35 delegates participated in it.

In his statement, al-Aseikh said that the meeting discussed a number of issues related to the completion of the organizational functions of the group. Also, the progress of satellite project 813 was also discussed. Let us tell you that nominated experts from Arab countries have participated to participate in the project. The academic and training opportunities offered by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center to Arab students who have received scholarships from the United Arab Emirates University have also been discussed.
