Patna: The floor test of the Nitish Kumar-Tejashwi Yadav government in Bihar is to be held today. Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance government has brought a no-confidence motion to remove Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha. Even after the no-confidence motion, Vijay Kumar Sinha refused to resign from the post of Speaker. Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha has resigned from his post.

Meanwhile, Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha said, "The government resigned on August 9. On August 10, an invitation was extended to form a new government. After the formation of the new government, I myself would have relinquished the speaker's post. But on August 9, I came to know that a notice of no-confidence motion has been sent to the secretary against me. It became our moral responsibility to reply to this no-confidence motion. You are all priests of the biggest temple in democracy. The no-confidence motion that you have brought is vague. Letters from 9 persons were found, out of which the letter of 8 does not appear as per rules. But the allegations that were levelled against me. Of arbitrariness, of working style, of dictatorship. In such a situation, it is necessary to answer me.

On the other hand, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi said, "Ever since the government was formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, these people are scared. All parties except the BJP are with us. We have a majority. CBI has taken action to scare us. But we will not be afraid. This is not happening for the first time.''
