Bhopal: There are speculations to build an airport in Ratlam soon. Specialist team of Indore airport is reaching Ratlam and collecting information. Ever since Indore International Airport has been established. There has been an increase in the number of passenger planes. At the same time, these planes can be held at night. With this, people of Ratlam, Mandsaur, Banswara will be able to get air facilities. The team members are finding this place quite right as there is no obstruction around the runway. A report in this regard has been prepared by the team members.

Three members, including Assistant General Manager Sanjay Aggarwal of Indore Airport, in the Specialist Team reached Banjali airstrip on Wednesday. As soon as this team members arrive, the first high-altitude obstacles have been noticed. The current run-way for the airport was also measured. To run a big aircraft on the Banjali airstrip, a runway of 150-150 meters is required, but currently the runway is only in 100 meters. The length of the runway will be 1.8 km for landing large aircraft. Which is still 1.2 km. Ratlam and parking has been discussed with Aprin, Terminal. According to the discussion, the airport will start from Banjali Bypass. There will be entry inside after parking. With the formation of a new air circle in Ratlam, people of Neemuch, Mandsaur, Jhabua, Dahod will have great facilities. Ratlam is being considered as the distance of Ujjain is not more than Indore. This will reduce the pressure on Indore Airport. On the basis of the report, the Urban Aviation Ministry will discuss and decide.

After the airport is built, 200 KVA power will be required here. Officers have been questioned by team members regarding this. Actually, the officials had said that there is a separate feeder to provide electricity to the medical college. The team members kept asking to consider his additional options, he said that it would be difficult to get electricity from the college management. Although our requirement is less.
