Chennai: Recently a special sub-inspector of the State Armed Police Force in Tamil Nadu has killed himself. He has ended his life by allegedly shooting himself last Monday. This case is from Chennai. The inspector of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad office has shot himself. Sources associated with the police said that 47-year-old G. Sekar, a native of Vellore district in Tamil Nadu, was employed as an SSI in an 'H' company in the 47th Palatoon of the state armed police forces.

He was working as a security officer in the VHP main office in T Nagar for the last two years. Police have also received a note at the scene of the incident. It has been learned from that note that he had taken a loan of Rs 25 lakh to buy a building and he went into depression as he couldn't repay the loan. On Monday evening, Sekar allegedly shot himself in the back of the VHP office.

The people present there informed the police about this matter. As soon as the police received the information, the body reached the spot and sent it to the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in Chennai for postmortem. In this case, the police say that the forensic department has seized the gun used by SSI to shoot himself. Apart from this, the police has also started investigation in this matter. Deputy Commissioner of Mambalam Hari Kiran Prasad has also inspected the site of the incident in this case.
