Lucknow: A sudden uncontrolled pick-up crushed three school going children and another man in front of Iqra Inter College in the Kolhui area of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. A child died a painful death in this incident.
The driver of the speeding pickup coming from Lotan's side crushed three children who were going to school on a bicycle while trying to flee after hitting a bike rider. In this accident, Wajiullah's son Abu Hareira, a resident of Labdaha, died a painful death. Farhan and Abdul were badly injured. Along with them, bike rider Babloo Sharma, who was hit by the pickup, is also seriously injured. Babloo had come to his in-laws' house in the area.
Police, who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident, have shifted the injured to a local hospital for treatment. In this regard, SO Ajit Singh has informed that the pickup has been taken into custody. Necessary action will be taken on the complaint of the family members.
