Sony recently hosted their PlayStation Showcase event, where upcoming games for the PlayStation (PS) 5 and PSVR 2 were presented. These games included the Spider-Man 2 game play trailer, the unveiling of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, and others.
Sony presented a full game play trailer of Spider-Man 2 starring both Miles Morales and Peter Parker during the PlayStation Showcase event. The company did not specify a release date for the game, although it is expected to be launched in the fall of 2023.
The teaser shows an angry Peter Parker in the black symbiote costume, aided by Miles Morales, defeating Kraven and preventing him from capturing The Lizard, a.k.a. Dr. Curt Connors. The audience might successfully turn between Miles and Peter during the game, each having their own spectacular skills. Fans will be pleased to learn that Miles Morales has underarm web wings, which will allow him to rapidly fly around New York City.
Insomniac Games' Spider-Man 2 game was launched following the 2019 Spider-Man video game. This video game also has a spin-off, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which was published in 2020. Based on the gameplay video for Spider-Man 2, it is easy to conclude that the game will be a smash for the PlayStation. This video game series has sold over 33 million copies worldwide. Spider-Man 2 is expected to be published in the fall of 2023 and will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5.
