It is very difficult to predict when your luck will shine. The same old spoon brightened a person's fortune that you would also say that if you have luck, then such a thing. In fact, in London, a man bought an old broken and bad spoon for just 90 paise. The same person who bought the spoon from the street felt that it could be a rare medieval spoon that could change his fortunes.

When the same man examined him, he found that the spoon was made of silver at the end of the 13th century. Then, as soon as the man heard of it, he contacted Lawrence auctioneers in Somerset and registered the spoon for auction. After the spoon was registered for an online auction, the bid continued to grow throughout the day. After some time of bidding, the spoon was last sold for Rs.1,97,000.

With this, the price of the spoon crossed Rs 2 lakh with tax and other formalities. The man received Rs 2 lakh for the spoon through an online auction which apparently made him happy. The same person who sold it wrote after the auction, "He was watching the online auction with his daughter and he could not believe it.'' The auctioneers said the man is now planning to spend the money on vacation in the eastern part of England.
