The third edition of 'Khelo India Youth Khelo' will be held in Guwahati in 2020 for giving an opportunity to India's youth to show their talent. These games will be organized from January 18 to 30 next year. Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju (Kiren Rijiju) tweeted and gave information about this. He wrote in the tweet. "I am very happy to announce that the third edition of the Khelo India Youth Games will be held in Guwahati from January 18 to 30 in 2020."

More than 10 thousand participants from all over the country will participate, in which a total of 451 medals will be contested in 13 days. It will be organized in partnership with Assam (host), Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and School Games Federation of India (SGFI). Apart from Rijiju, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was also present on the occasion. In third phase of the program, Mascots, players' jerseys, logos, and theme songs were also introduced. Top athletes Hima Das, Swapna Burman, and Lavlina Borgohain were also present on the occasion.
