Sridevi: From Rajinikanth to SRK arrive at Anil's home

Early this morning, Bollywood Badshah aka Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri were photographed at actor Anil Kapoor's Mumbai residence, where several celebrities assembled to pay their condolences after Bollywood veteran actress Sridevi's sudden death. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh and Gauri were photographed entering the Kapoor residence after 1 am, much after the arrival of celebrities like South Indian superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Other Bollywood stars who assembled at Anil Kapoor's place were Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Jaya Prada, Tabu, Venkatesh, Karisma Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. Shah Rukh and Sridevi co-starred in 1996 film Army. Sridevi also shot for a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming Zero, which will become her last onscreen appearance when it releases in December 2018.

Superstar Rajinikanth along with his wife Latha Rajinikanth and actor Kamal Haasan were pictured at the Kapoor residence on Monday evening. Rajinikanth and Sridevi have made several films together including Chaalbaaz and Pokkiri Raja. With Kamal Haasan she co-starred in Sadma, Aakali Rajyam and Adyapadam among others. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Sridevi featured in 1976 film Moondru Mudichu, which was the then-13-year-old Sridevi's first role as a leading lady.

Veteran actress Sridevi died in Dubai on late Saturday evening, after a week of festivities for nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding. A postmortem reveals that she accidentally drowned in her hotel bathtub, Dubai police said on Monday. It's unclear exactly when Sridevi will be flown back to Mumbai.
