The government has constituted a high-powered three-member SIT (Special Investigation Team) headed by DG Intelligence Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, which will conduct a detailed inquiry into the allegations of corruption leveled by Vaibhav Krishna in a confidential letter and submit an inquiry report to the government in 15 days. IG STF Amitabh Yash and Managing Director of UP Jal Nigam Vikas Gothalwal have been included as members in the SIT.
