Bhojpuri film star and Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court to investigate the case of the death of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput from the CBI. He said in his statement that today SC has taken a historic decision by ordering a CBI inquiry, and it is not only the happiness of a family, but the day of happiness of the whole country.
Ravi Kishan has said a lot about nepotism. He said that he had to remove his Shukla surname due to nepotism. He said that Sushant Singh case does not seem to be of suicide. This seems to be a case of murder. Bihar Police has done excellent work. He said that the Mumbai Police should ponder what they have lost. Ravi Kishan said that Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey has done a great job.
On the question of nepotism in Bollywood, Ravi Kishan said, 'I have lost a lot because of nepotism. In Mumbai, I had to change my surname too. Nepotism dominates badly in Mumbai. When I came into this industry, I had to earn money. The dream of my parents was to be fulfilled. I was a poor family boy, for which I had to change my surname'. Further Ravi Kishan said that people there call us Bhaiyya, and people who come from UP and other small towns have to suffer from nepotism.
