While the workers going from Surat to Bihar were to go to special platform number-1, which was taken to platform number-2 at the last moment. During the sharing of food in this train, shunting of other train caused a stir among the officials who distributed the food.

According to the information received, Shramik Express going from Surat to Bihar was coming at 09419 main railway station at around 8 pm. The train was supposed to come on platform one, but due to the arbitrariness of railway officers and personnel, the train was moved to platform number two. The GRP objected to this, so the officers ignored his talks.

GRP talked about bringing the train to number one, but the officials did not listen, then the staff of RPF and GRP landed on the tracks and started distributing food in the train from the other side. In platform number one, food was being given to passengers after bringing food in about six trolleys. Others, including GRP and RPF officers and employees, heard the sound of a train. This train was being taken on platform number one. On seeing this, the officers came in panic and a situation of stampede was created there. Soon the train was stopped by contacting the operating department. After which the distribution of food was started again. Due to this, the train was able to leave after 45 minutes at quarter to nine.
