Former Sweden football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to Italy. There are reports of joining Milan. The Italian Serie-A league teams have returned to training since last week. League matches are expected to begin between May 27 and June 2. All football activities in the country have been closed since March due to Coronavirus and officials are contemplating ending the season in an empty stadium without spectators. Ibrahimovic's contract with AC Milan ends next month and so he will go on to play the remaining matches for a few days after Seri-A gets the green signal from officials.
The club has recalled its players. Earlier reports had reported that Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo's personal plane had arrived in Turin from his hometown Madera last week. Virus had led to Seri-A being intercepted and that is why Ibrahimovic returned to his country. There are also reports that after Ibrahimovic Milan, only Sweden's football club Hammarhabay can go.
The club's sports director, Jasper Jansson, told The Expression.com, "Probably, I think too, but only Zlatan knows. So far he has not said anything in this matter."
