The very talented actor Ranveer Singh won many awards for delivering phenomenal performances. Now, once again at the Star Screen Awards 2018, Ranveer bagged the Best Actor nod for his stupendous performance as the antagonist Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat. In a photo from the award function one could see doting wife Deepika got emotional on seeing Ranveer giving his winning speech.
On Winning award, Ranveer Singh that it was his dream to won the best actor award when Deepika set beside him. He said, "I always had this dream where one day I would be sitting and Deepika would be sitting next to me and I'll be married to her and they'll call my name for Best Actor. Further elaborating how Deepika helped him in winning this award, he said . She was my support, especially through Khilji because that was a very difficult year for me, a very difficult character, one that I was really struggling through. It was difficult for her, it was difficult for me, it was difficult for us as individuals, it was difficult for us together.
