The media rights of the broadcast of matches of the Indian cricket team has again been bought by Star Sports Network. The Star Sports Network has the rights of all the matches that will be held in India for the next 5 years have made their names by paying a bid of Rs 6138 crores. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sold these Media Rights to Star Sports Network in 6138 crores.

BCCI said the Indian team had organized the auction to sell media rights to broadcast the matches. In this auction, a bid of Rs 6138 crores for the rights of Star Sports Network between April 2018 to March 2023 and bought these rights. Earlier, in September 2017, the Star Sports Network had bought the rights for 5 years of Indian Premier League by paying 16,347 crores rupees.

The highest earning Indian team in world cricket will play 203 international matches in the next five years (2018-2023) in various fields. In these five years' future tour program (FTP), the Indian team is expected to play 51 Test matches, 83 ODIs, and 69 T20 Internationals. The number of matches in India is second only to West Indies (186) and England (175 matches) in the third place.
