New Delhi:-  World’s biggest beverage brand Starbucks is now under their workers who came on strike in the US on Friday. This happened due to the pride decorations that are banned in all the stores all over the World.

Workers at about 150 Starbucks unionized stores across the country went on strike Friday over a dispute over the coffee chain's policy on pride decorations in stores. Starbucks (SBUX) Workers United, the labor union representing organized stores, said Starbucks (SBUX) is restricting Pride Month decorations at some stores, citing "hypocritical treatment of LGBTQIA+ workers." claimed to show Starbucks (SBUX) has strongly denied the allegations.

Some Store managers are free to decorate their stores for Pride Month and other traditional months, according to the company, as long as the decorations comply with safety guidelines. Starbucks said it is not aware of any retail stores that have banned Pride decorations.

When the company also noted that many stores share their Pride decorations on social media. They have unwavering support for the LGBTQIA2+ community. We have not changed our policy in this regard and continue to encourage store managers to celebrate with their communities, including during U.S. Pride Month in June." a Starbucks spokesperson said, adding that it was "extremely concerned about misinformation." It will spread. "

The dispute over Pride Month in which retailers like Target and Kohl’s have faced backlash for selling rainbow merch in Seattle to support the LGBTQIA2+ community all over the World.

Starbucks has fought hard against the union which now claims the company has stalled already very long contract bargaining by refusing via Zoom.

The community should be prioritized so the workers went on strike and now the company is trying to get rid of it. There are many other disparities faced by the workers and the company too.
