Leeds: During England's fourth innings of the third Ashes Test on Sunday, Mitchell Starc outperformed Moeen Ali with a ripper. At Headingley in Leeds, England finished Day 3 with a score of 27 without a loss in their target of 251.

The next day, Ben Duckett was bowled by Mitchell Starc, giving Australia its first successful innings with a score of 42. Moeen was sent to bat at number three by England, however the strategy backfired when Starc dismissed the batter with an individual score of 5.

In a thrilling third Test on Sunday at Headingley, England defeated Australia by three wickets to maintain the five-match Ashes series.

A pivotal 59-run partnership between Chris Woakes and Harry Brook propelled England to the verge of victory.

Before Brook was bowled out for 75 by Mitchell Starc (5-78), Harry Brook and Chris Woakes established a critical 59-run combination that brought England close to victory.

Woakes (32 not out) and Mark Wood (16 not out), two recalled players, then guided England home with more than a day to spare to trim Australia's series advantage to 2-1.

Australia currently has two games to win their first Ashes campaign victory in England in 22 years. The series continues with the fourth Test at Old Trafford beginning on July 19.

The 1936/37 Australia squad, led by batting legend Don Bradman, overcame a 2-0 deficit to win the Ashes 3-2, and England is attempting to become just the second team to achieve the same.
