According to the media report, a green city is to be established by the name of 'Ikshvakupuri' on the banks of the Saryu river from Guptarghat to Brahmakund Gurdwara in Ayodhya. The government believes that in terms of religious and cultural importance, there is a possibility in Ayodhya that it can be developed as the most important place of faith for Hindus. Establishment of a spiritual-cultural city on the banks of Saryu as 'Ikshvakupuri' is revered by devotees around the world and can become a center of attraction for tourists. There is a plan to use the land of Nuzul, Forest and Horticulture Department to develop it. The area built in this green city will be maximum 5%. 'Ikshvakupuri' will be developed with a mixture of East Asian Hindu architecture and all three temple architecture in India (Nagar, Dravidian, and Basar). Other ancient styles of the building can also be used. Along with this, some pavilions will be made. It will be a symbolic replica of the cities of the world that represent the Rama and Ikshvaku dynasty. These include Ramavati (Myanmar) and Janakpur (Nepal).
