New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI), India's largest state-owned bank, keeps alerting its 44 crore customers to protect them from fraud and scams. In the same vein, SBI has now warned people about another fraud to avoid it. SBI posted on his official Twitter handle and shared information about the scam.

The State Bank cautioned its customers to click on links claiming that the bank is offering free gifts (Freebies). SBI warned its customers in a Twitter post that clicking on phishing links to get free gifts could damage your personal and confidential information. The bank said many customers have fallen prey to such phishing link frauds. Clicking on the link, the user reaches the page where his personal information is sought.

We advise you not to click on any such link and not to mr any of your banking information with anyone," SBI further said. At the same time, if there is any fraud with you, inform the bank or the concerned law enforcement agencies immediately.
