The administration has taken strict measures in view of the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB 2019) in Aligarh, West Uttar Pradesh, India's state of Uttar Pradesh. The administration has made elaborate security arrangements in view of the demonstration at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), the announcement of peace march by the Mayor on Friday and the prayers of the Juma. An order to stop internet service has also been issued in Aligarh city.

According to the media report, Rakesh Malpani, ADM City of Aligarh told that the internet service has been stopped from 12 o'clock on Thursday night. This stop will be till 5 pm on Friday evening. Apart from this, the city is divided into 25 sectors. 25-25 magistrates have been appointed in two shifts. At the tehsil level, SDM and CO have been ordered to make magistrates by making them sectors. However, the district administration has not given permission to carry out the peace march.

On Thursday, protests against the Citizenship Amendment Bill also demonstrated at AMU for the third day. Students also participated in it. During this time, in the meeting held at Baba Syed Gate, the students of Abdullah Hall accused the provost of stopping them. Said the hall was locked, which has been broken. Swaraj Party's founder Yogendra Yadav and the Gorakhpur Oxygen case's famous Dr. Kafeel Khan supported the students' movement.
