Hyderabad: Congress legislature party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramawrote a letter to Chief Minister K.K. In his letter, he urged The Governor to convene a special session of the Legislature to pass a resolution against the new agricultural laws of the central government.

Condemning the Chief Minister's decision to close the collection centres in the state villages, Bhatti demanded an unconditional restart. The U-turn on three central agricultural laws has completely destroyed the farmers and the agriculture sector in the state and the farmer's interests have been handed over to the corporate hands.

Bhatti reminded that KCR was one of the chief ministers who opposed the controversial agricultural laws. He expressed solidarity with farmers during the Bharat Bandh and asked his party leaders and activists to participate in the Bharat Bandh on December 8.

Meanwhile, five non-BJP-ruled states have already passed resolutions opposing agricultural legislation. Three of them are under the rule of The Congress in Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and the fourth in The Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. The fifth is the CPM-led Kerala state government. For this, The Governor should request the Governor to call the Assembly meeting.
