Another great decision taken by the government during this corona epidemic came to light. Non-covid services will resume at Gandhi Hospital by November 21. The state government issued an order on Thursday, ordering health authorities to resume services on or before November 21. One of the junior demands for restarting non-covid services is doctors who have asked the government to start services immediately.

Three weeks ago, a committee was formed to plan and implement the incense of wards and other preparations. The hospital superintendent decides on the staff to be appointed in the covid areas. Currently, only Covid patients are admitted to the hospital and it may take three to four weeks to start non-covid services. Some operation theaters have been repaired in the hospital and are being checked for any kind of infection. Junior doctors reportedly protested on November 2 demanding restarting non-covid services. They threatened to boycott the duties if the services were not started by November 11.
