Chief Minister Manohar Lal On Saturday inaugurated the Integrated Command and Control Center built in the IRCTC building in Sector 44 at a cost of Rs 38 crore today. Gurugram has become the first such city in the state with such facility. Union Minister of State for Planning, Statistics and Program Implementation Rao Indrajit Singh was also present on the occasion.

According to the media report, all the government buildings and police stations of the city will be connected with the fiber network, but currently 160 government buildings and police stations of the city have been connected with the fiber network. So far, 400 kilometers of optical fiber has been laid by the various three agencies in the city. The center offers online real time access, evaluation and reporting of data for decisions, paperless work, high-speed internet with Wi-Fi- Along with this, video conferencing will also be available in various offices.

In his statement, the Chief Minister said that CCTV system for data analysis and monitoring, traffic control and management, property and land record management, public traffic, street light monitoring and control, solid waste management, STP water quality monitoring, drinking water supply Monitoring, environmental monitoring, urban service cooperation center and citizen participation through mobile apps are also provided. So that Gurugram can be made a better smart city. During this, Chief Executive Officer of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority V. Umashankar informed that all government buildings in the city will be equipped with public Wi-Fi within 6 to 9 months. Apart from this, a mobile app has also been developed for this command and control center by bringing all the civic services offered to the citizens on one platform so that the public can enjoy the live facility through the mobile app.
