In RJD, an important meeting of the new District Presidents and District General Secretaries of the party is taking place amid resentment about Team Tejashwi. Earlier on Saturday, in the meeting of the RJD Legislature Party, there was resentment about these new party officials. Many legislators opposed this experiment during the election year, while several MLAs, including Tejashwi's brother and Lalu's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav and Abdul Bari Siddiqui, opted out of the meeting.

In the appointment of district heads in RJD, the party has shifted from the traditional Muslim-Yadav equation of Lalu Prasad Yadav. With this new team, Tejashwi Yadav is meeting today at Rabri Devi's residence. Discussion on the preparations for the assembly elections is the main issue in the meeting. A strategy is also being considered for the budget session to begin in Bihar from 24 February.

Earlier in the meeting of RJD Legislature on Saturday, in the presence of Tejashwi and state president Jagdanand Singh, many party MLAs questioned this new experiment in the election year and feared a big loss in the assembly elections. Several MLAs, including Sahebpur Kamal MLA Shri Narayan Yadav and Khajouli MLA Sitaram Yadav, said that the party should be engaged in a reshuffle of the organization at the time when it should have engaged in the election preparations. He said that this may harm the party in elections. Munger MLA Vijay Kumar Vijay expressed apprehension.
