Rahul Gandhi attacked CBI and Modi through his twitter account. He wrote” Mallya’s Great Escape was aided by the CBI quietly changing the “Detain” notice for him, to “Inform”. The CBI reports directly to the PM. It is inconceivable that the CBI, in such a high profile, controversial case, would change a lookout notice without the approval of the PM.

CBI said that it was an “error” in judgment to make this change but points that the probe, back in 2015, was still in an early stage and there was no warrant against Mallya.

recently, Vijay Mallya infromed that he met the Finance Minister before leaving India. The congress is accusing continously to Modi lead government that it has not taken any solid step to stop the Mallya to fly to India without paying bank loan of 9,000 crore. The party Persident, Rahul Gandhi accused fianance minister Arun Jaitley colluding with Mallya and questioned why the Finance Minister did not inform the investigating agencies about Mallya's plans of leaving the country.
